The Atlas Copco ZBP 15-60 is a compact lithium-ion energy storage system designed for smaller and mid-sized site operations. It delivers stable power, reduces reliance on generators, and integrates easily into temporary and remote setups.
The ZBP 15-60 provides 58 kWh of lithium-ion storage using a 48 V LiFePO4 battery system. Twelve 100 Ah battery modules deliver dependable daily cycling, with an expected life of 6,000 cycles at an 80 per cent depth of discharge. This makes the unit suitable for long-running projects that require a consistent supply of stored energy.
With a 15 kVA (12 kW) output and a discharge capability of 52 A, the ZBP 15-60 supports a wide range of site loads. In hybrid setups, it supplies stored energy when demand is low and absorbs short peaks, helping reduce generator run time and supporting more efficient fuel use.
The weather-resistant canopy and integrated lifting points make the ZBP 15-60 practical to transport and position on site. The compact enclosure supports fast installation and straightforward servicing. Battery balancing back to full charge is only required once per month.
The unit supports three modes for flexible deployment.
Island Mode provides stand-alone battery power for quieter, emission-free operation.
Hybrid Mode runs with a generator to support efficient load management.
Series Mode links multiple units for increased capacity on larger projects.
