The Atlas Copco ZBP 45-60 is a high-capacity lithium-ion energy storage system designed for mid-sized and hybrid site operations. With flexible voltage output and strong discharge capability, it supports a wide range of equipment and integrates easily into construction, mining and temporary power setups.
The ZBP 45-60 delivers 58 kWh of lithium-ion storage through a 48 V LiFePO4 battery system. Twelve 100 Ah modules provide consistent performance across daily cycles, with an expected service life of 6,000 cycles at an 80 per cent depth of discharge. This makes it well-suited to long-duration projects where dependable energy storage is essential.
With a rated output of 45 kVA (36 kW) and dual-voltage capability at 400 V and 230 V, the ZBP 45-60 can support a broad range of industrial loads. A 52 A discharge rating allows the unit to handle variable demand while maintaining stable output, making it practical for tools, pumps, lighting towers and site distribution boards.
The ZBP 45-60 is housed in a robust canopy designed for demanding environments. Integrated lifting points facilitate straightforward transport and on-site positioning, while service access points simplify routine checks. Battery balancing back to full charge is required only once per month, helping streamline maintenance planning.
The unit supports three operating modes for flexible site integration.
Island Mode supplies stand-alone battery power for quieter, emission-free operation when the generator is off.
Hybrid Mode runs with a generator, smoothing demand and helping reduce fuel use.
Series Mode allows multiple units to be connected for greater storage capacity on larger projects.
