The Atlas Copco ZBP 45-75 is a high-capacity lithium-ion energy storage system designed for medium-sized site operations and hybrid power setups. With increased storage and flexible voltage output, it supports a broad range of industrial loads while helping reduce generator runtime across construction, mining, and temporary power applications.
The ZBP 45-75 delivers 77 kWh of lithium-ion storage through a 48 V LiFePO4 battery system. Sixteen 100 Ah modules provide a larger usable capacity than smaller models, supporting applications that demand extended battery operation. With an expected life of 6,000 cycles at an 80 per cent depth of discharge, it is suitable for long-term deployment on sites that require reliable daily cycling.
Rated at 45 kVA (36 kW) and capable of dual-voltage operation at 400 V and 230 V, the ZBP 45-75 can accommodate a wide range of tools, machinery, and distribution boards. A discharge rating of 52 A ensures steady performance across fluctuating loads, making it suitable for environments where demand varies throughout the day.
The ZBP 45-75 is housed in a durable canopy designed for challenging worksites. Integrated lifting points allow for straightforward transport and placement, and the enclosure provides easy access for routine servicing. Battery balancing back to full charge is required only once per month, supporting predictable maintenance scheduling across longer project timelines.
The unit supports three operating modes to suit different site arrangements.
Island Mode supplies stand-alone battery power when generator-free operation is required.
Hybrid Mode pairs the unit with a generator to smooth load variations and help reduce fuel use.
Series Mode connects multiple units to increase total storage capacity and extend runtime for larger projects.
