Frequently asked questions
What is the CN-Seamless Mach 1 used for?
The Mach 1 is a portable CNC cutting system designed for on-site fabrication, repair and maintenance work. It can be used to duplicate parts, prepare damaged areas for welding, fabricate custom wear packages, cut gussets and pads, and support bucket or attachment rebuilds.
Can the Mach 1 be used with both oxy-fuel and plasma cutting?
Yes. The Mach 1 supports quick-swap oxy-fuel and plasma attachments, giving operators flexibility across different cutting requirements. The oxy-fuel attachment is suited to heavy steel cutting, while the plasma attachment can support cutting across steel, aluminium, stainless steel and more.
How portable is the Mach 1?
The Mach 1 is designed for field use, with a compact 7” x 11” base footprint and a 20 lb weight without attachments. Its one-handed carry design, control tablet, case and included accessories make it easy to transport, set up and deploy across site environments.
What mounting options does the Mach 1 support?
The Mach 1 uses a button-activated magnetic base and can be mounted horizontally, vertically or overhead. Dedicated tie-off points also help support secure operation in more complex or challenging site setups.
How does the smart CNC system improve cutting accuracy?
The integrated CNC system allows operators to trace point-to-point, import CAD files or use preloaded shapes for accurate, repeatable cuts. This helps reduce rework, improve consistency and support more efficient fabrication across a wide range of applications.
